W4IZ REPEATER SYSTEM: 146.700 / 444.4 MHZ NEWSLETTER NOFARS members can receive the Balanced Modulator, a monthly e-mail newsletter, which includes a meeting notice and information on NOFARS activities. The Balanced Modulator is distributed through NOFARSnet, a Yahoo Group used only to distribute the newsletter. No additional posts or spam are sent through this moderated group. The newsletter can be sent to any valid e-mail address. A Yahoo e-mail account is NOT necessary. To subscribe to NOFARSnet, access http://groups.yahoo.com/search?query=nofarsnet Or access http://www.yahoogroups.com and enter NOFARSnet in the "Find a Yahoo Group" search box. Follow the instructions to subscribe. You can also subscribe by sending an e-mail request to n4uf@nofars.net if you have difficulty with the link shown above. Those who establish a Yahoo ID and associate it with NOFARSnet can view back issues of the newsletter. But a Yahoo ID is not mandatory. Distribution is limited to NOFARS members so include your call sign or name in your subscription request for authentication. Articles are wanted from NOFARS members for publication in the Balanced Modulator. Articles on Amateur Radio, electronics, project construction and other topics of interest to Jacksonville hams are welcome. Length can be from a paragraph to several pages. Large articles may be published in several parts. We don't publish photos, but links to web pages that host photos and related information may be included.. Deadline is the first of each month. Send input and articles as text in the body of an e-mail (no attachments) to the editor via n4uf@nofars.net
